The Danish startup and creator of the famous sports app Endomondo reported today that it has surpassed five million downloads of its app. The young company also announced that it has raised $2.3 million in funding from SEED Capital – after raising $800,000 of funding from the same venture firm in March. Endomondo will apply the funding towards increasing staff needs, especially on the development team, and adding an office in San Francisco. With these steps Endomondo aims to keep itself in a position to serve its growing user base.
